Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Hardware design Engineer based in Chennai location
What a typical day looks like:
Engineer should analyze / understand architecture.
Engineer should understand detailed specifications for various electronic products, for new designs and reverse engineering products.
Engineer should validate designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis.
Engineer will own the technical performance of the hardware under development.
Engineer is required to be hands on and provide technical leadership in design, development & production handover of Electronics hardware.
Engineer is expected to be process driven and lead development of processes as required.
Engineer should coordinate with Program Engineering (Project, Design, Manufacturing, etc.,). Provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents. As a key role, candidate shall assist in estimates across hardware development lifecycle.
This position supports different Design Centers related to engineering excellence & customer engagement.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic or related engineering degree or higher
At least 5 years hands on experience
Experience in creating hardware designs for systems and products, from architecture.
Experience in Design architecture for Components and Subcomponents.
Experience with Digital electronic hardware design and analysis (Micro controllers, Memories, etc.,)
Experience with Analog electronics (amplifier, filter, power supply, analog circuit designs, sensor etc.,)
Experience with Communication Protocols (RS485, CAN, Ethernet, etc.,)
Experience with EMI-EMC concepts, good understanding of grounding/shielding concepts.
Knowledge of Manufacturing of Electronic Assemblies (manufacturing readiness assessments, Rapid Prototyping, electronics manufacturing)
Experience in Design documentations (HLD, Schematic – OrCAD/Altium preferred, detailed design documents, DFMEA, Test plan, Test reports etc.,)
